Lovejoy SIM

I attended the OpenSim London meetup on Sunday, January 31, at the Jugged Hare pub on Vauxhall Bridge Road.  Attendance was come and go, but there were somewhere between 15 and 20 folks who showed up.  More later.

The website now has a set of detailed instructions for installing the OpenSim server on a Windows 7 system with a MySQL database.  They are based on retrieving the source code from the SVN repository.

We are still editing on the instructions – and will continue to do so.  If you have any comments or suggestions, please put them here.

The Windows Vista instructions are almost identical, and we will post them RSN.  Also, we will add instructions for using the git “repository” (not quite the same thing as an SVN repository) shortly.

We ran away from the circus to be accountants.

The Lovejoy SIM project is dedicated to mundane applications built on the OpenSim server.
